Award of Qualification

A Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore for each Module

Method of assessment

Each module is assessed by a combination of class participation, written assignments, project work or examinations. Assessment methods may vary according to the individual module requirements.

What happens during class?

The Mid Career Ready programme is designed to be interactive and engaging, not just one-way lectures.

Our teaching methodologies include mini-lectures, plenary discussions, participative group discussions, role-play sessions, presentations and case studies.

With a variety of class activities and participation methods, it helps learners to hone their soft skills as they progress.

Programme Structure - 4 Modules

Module 1: Comply with Workplace Safety and Health Procedures

On completion of this unit, learners will be able to identify their roles and responsibilities under the Workplace Safety and Health Act. Familiar with hazard identification and risk control procedures in relation to their industry.

Module 2: Demonstrate Initiative and Enterprising Behaviours

On completion of this unit, the learner will be able to demonstrate innovation and initiative on sustaining continuous improvement at their workplace while identifying, evaluating and managing risks associated with innovating and taking initiative at an individual level.

Module 3: Perform Basic Productivity Practises

On completion of this unit, the learner will acquire the knowledge and skills in performing basic productivity practises in their workplace.

Module 4: Solve Problems & Make Decisions

On completion of this unit, learners will acquire the techniques in problem-solving and decision making, including proactively identifying the root causes to a problem, generating and evaluating alternative solutions, making appropriate decisions and taking responsibility for the decisions within their circle of influence.

Conducted in a combination of lectures, workshops and seminars.

Fees & Subsidies

1. Prices are inclusive of GST

2. Subsidies are dependant on the criteria set by SkillsFuture Singapore

3. A non-refundable administration fee of $10.00 applies

4. All Singaporeans aged 25 years old and above can use their $500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses. Visit the SkillsFuture Credit website (www.skillsfuture.sg/credit) to choose from the other courses available on the Training Exchange course directory.

5. Training Vision Institute reserves the right to bill the learner full course fee in any event that their SSG subsidy for the course is not approved by SSG.
